Terms of Service

1. What Dolarchand is

Dolarchand is an informational tool that aggregates and displays publicly available reference prices for currencies, gold, silver, and cryptocurrencies, typically quoted in Iranian Toman, for general information only. Dolarchand is not a bank, broker, dealer, exchange, money-services business, payment provider, or financial institution, and does not execute, facilitate, or settle any transaction.

2. Not financial advice: no reliance

Nothing on the Services is financial, investment, trading, legal, tax, or accounting advice, a recommendation, a solicitation, or an offer to buy or sell any currency, asset, security, or instrument. Prices shown are indicative only; they may be delayed, incomplete, rounded, estimated, or inaccurate, and may differ significantly from the rates available from any bank, exchange, or dealer at any moment.

You are solely responsible for any decision you make and any action you take. You must independently verify any price before relying on it, and you should consult a qualified, licensed professional before making any financial decision. Any reliance you place on the Services is strictly at your own risk.

3. Data sources and accuracy

Price data is obtained from third-party sources believed to be reasonable, but we do not create, control, audit, or independently verify that data. We make no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, or availability of any price, figure, conversion, chart, or other content, and we are not responsible for errors, omissions, delays, interruptions, or inaccuracies in third-party data.

4. Service provided "as is"

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dolarchand disclaims all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any defect will be corrected.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Dolarchand or its owners, operators, contributors, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, or for any trading, investment, or financial loss, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Services or any content, price, or data on them, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us, if any, for the Services in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dolarchand and its owners and operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or sanctions regime;
• scrape, harvest, overload, or place unreasonable load on the Services, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, the API, or any access or security control;
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, servers, or networks;
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the data or Services except as expressly permitted by a written agreement or the API terms;
• misrepresent the source of the data or remove proprietary notices.

8. Developer API

Access to the developer API requires an API key and is subject to the plan limits and request quotas published on the Developers page. API keys are personal to the customer they are issued to and must be kept confidential. We may suspend or revoke a key, change quotas, or modify or discontinue the API at any time. The data disclaimers and liability limits in these Terms apply fully to API output.

9. Intellectual property

The Services, including their design, software, text, graphics, logos, and the "Dolarchand" name and branding, are owned by Dolarchand or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Underlying market prices are facts and are not owned by us. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

10. Apps, extension, and third-party platforms

Your download and use of our mobile apps and browser extension are also subject to the terms and policies of the relevant platform (such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, and your browser's extension store). Those platforms are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the Services. The Services may also link to or interoperate with third-party websites or services that we do not control and for which we are not responsible.

11. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice or liability. We may also update these Terms from time to time; changes are effective when we update the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of the Services means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, without notice. The sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and the general provisions below) will survive.

13. General

• Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Dolarchand regarding the Services.
• Controlling language. These Terms are provided in multiple languages; in case of any discrepancy, the English version prevails.
